Q What should I do if my child is unwell?

A Contact the school on the first day of absence via e mail (absence@lingfield.surrey.sch.uk) or telephone 01342 832626.

Q What do I do if my child wants to change to or from school meals?

A You need to give one weeks notice in writing or via e mail (info@lingfield.surrey.sch.uk), you can normally change from the following Monday.

Q What happens to dinner money if I have paid for the term and my child is off sick?

A You do not pay for meals when your child is absent, any money that is paid in advance will be carried forward.

Q When should I put my child's name down for Nursery?

A You can put your child's name down for Nursery after their 2nd birthday, admission forms are available by clicking here.

Q If my child attends the school Nursery will they automatically get a place in Reception Class?

A No, a place in Nursery doesn't guarantee you a place in the main school. You will be asked to complete an online application by Surrey County Council in September/October of the year before they are due to start.

Q What are the school car park rules?

A 1. NO PARKING FOR PARENTS - STAFF ONLY (Parking permits to be displayed)
2. As you enter the car park KEEP LEFT. The drop off zone is on the Left marked in yellow and hatched. Pull on to the hatched are. THIS IS A DROP OFF ZONE ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT PARK OR LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE.
3. Use the one way system. Always turn left into the car park and always turn left when leaving the car park.
4. If you are a 'Blue Badge' holder due to a disability, your badge must be on display at all times and you may park in the staff car park next to the school kitchen in the designated, marked are.
5. Speed should be kept to an absolute minimum at all times.
6. Be considerate and polite to other car park users at all times.
7. NEVER put children's lives at risk.
PLEASE NOTE: The car park gates will be closed at 9.30am.
